Excellence is no longer defined by a single measure; it is demonstrated by businesses that deliver outstanding customer experiences, lead with integrity, build trust among employees and the public, and make meaningful contributions to their communities. The BBB Excellence in Business Award celebrates these organizations while providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their achievements, gain valuable insights through a streamlined application process, and receive public recognition at the annual BBB Night of Excellence.

Eligibility and Requirements

Business must be BBB accredited and within good standing at BBB Southern Colorado

Businesses should maintain a public online presence, including a website, active social media channels, and customer reviews that demonstrate engagement and responsiveness.

Completion of online award application, along with uploaded supporting documents
Award Evaluation Categories
Award applicants will be evaluated across four core criteria that define a truly excellent business:

Customer Service – Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
