What is the Excellence In Customer Service Award?

The Excellence In Customer Service (EICS) Award is a comprehensive review of each applicant company's customer service systems. The award is based upon the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award which recognizes "performance excellence using the systems perspective and other core concepts and values". Companies are measured based upon a standard and not against each other so more than one company can receive the award each year. All BBB of Southern Colorado Accredited Businesses are invited to participate.

BBB of Southern Colorado has recognized businesses for superior customer service systems since 1995. Businesses that embrace best practices in customer service ultimately make our community a better place to live.

 

Businesses interested in applying for the 2022 EICS Award are required to watch the EICS Application Writing Workshop video. This workshop provides tips to save you time and tell you how your application is evaluated. It will cover how evaluators look for customer service processes that are documented, tracked, trended, and well-managed.
